Enhanced Vital Energy

Tian Tao Yoga is a deeply powerful Zen Buddhist technique of regeneration and self-healing that was secretly practiced in Chinese monasteries until the Cultural Revolution.

One of the special qualities of this gentle yet potent method is that it is easy to learn and does not require any special athletic ability or flexibility. This makes it accessible for older people or those with limited mobility, allowing everyone to benefit from the practice.

Through Tian Tao Yoga, body, mind, and soul are effectively revitalized and aligned on a profound inner level. The effects are extensive and go beyond the physical, reaching into the deeper layers of our being. The exercises focus on renewing the primary energy, often triggering rejuvenating and regenerative processes within the practitioner.

Tian Tao Yoga requires neither endurance nor strength—only a willingness to practice gently and regularly. Just ten minutes of daily practice can already bring noticeable results.

The beneficial effects can be experienced early on, sometimes within the first two hours of instruction. Even experienced meditators often find it surprising how quickly and effortlessly they can enter meditative states through the unique quality of these exercises—states that they might previously have only experienced during long retreats.

The building and cumulative effects of this unique form of Tantra Yoga unfold with consistent practice and go far beyond traditional fitness training or purely mental techniques. It is a gentle, profound journey toward renewal and inner harmony that invites you to explore and experience its transformative power.

The effects:

Transformation on all levels of substance

Through the consistent practice of “Feeling instead of Doing” and the minimization of external pressure, Tian Tao Yoga initiates a profound process of self-regulation. The results are cumulative and manifest in the restoration of your original vitality:

Physical Recalibration:

A natural realignment of the spine and posture. Muscles are not strengthened through force, but toned and energized by releasing chronic tension.

Biological Regeneration:

The targeted renewal of primary energy (Jing/Qi) promotes homeostasis and activates rejuvenating processes. This results in increased vitality, enhanced flexibility, and optimized sexual function.

Neurological Clarity:

Through specific breathing techniques and movement patterns, the nervous system experiences deep relaxation. This leads to a balancing of brain functions, a measurable reduction in anxiety, and the attainment of deep meditative states.

Energetic Sovereignty:

Emotions are harmonized as they no longer need to be “held” within the body’s tissues. A state of relaxed fullness and inner presence emerges, making you resilient and clear amidst the challenges and stress of our modern world.

Julia Kant teaches Tian Tao along the direct lineage of the Chinese Grandmaster Ho Lo. She is the only European who has had the opportunity to work personally with him in Australia and to learn from his teachings.

With the support of the Grandmaster and his long-time student Tina Barry, Julia was able to complete this system of practice, which had previously been transmitted here only in fragmented form and with significant modifications under the name Hsin Tao. She has restored it to its original clarity and effectiveness, returning it to its authentic essence.

How It All Began

Julia Kant initially learned this form of Zen Buddhist Yoga under the name Hsin Tao from Ratziel Bander, a former student of the Chinese Grandmaster Ho Lo. In 2008, Julia became the first European authorized to teach Hsin Tao. In this capacity, she introduced hundreds of people to the practice of Hsin Tao.

In 2012, she began teaching the system in a standalone format called “Hsin Tao Essentials,” which conveyed the exercises free from the dogma of secrecy and artificial mystification.

Through a series of fortunate circumstances, she was able to establish direct contact with Grandmaster Ho Lo in the same year and subsequently received teachings directly from him. Additionally, at his request, Tina Barry generously shared her twenty years of accumulated knowledge with Julia, supporting the authentic transmission of these unique Buddhist yoga and meditation practices in Europe.

The culmination of these developments led to the decision to rename the system as Tian Tao Yoga — the Yoga Path of Heaven.
