This exercise is performed standing up and develops spontaneously from a state of complete relaxation and detachment. From this starting point, repetitive circular and spiral movement patterns form, always maintaining a sense of lightness and spontaneity.
The pelvic floor and spine are trained in a sophisticated way, while the practitioner automatically enters a contemplative state. In this way, the body is strengthened and revitalized from within, while regenerating life energy flows into all important centers.
The flowing, effortless movement promotes the release of tension patterns and supports the correction of poor posture. Furthermore, the joints are lubricated, the internal organs are nourished, and the entire metabolism is activated.
This exercise is called “The Saint Prepares His Elixir” and is performed while sitting, either on a cushion or stool on the floor or on a chair. It combines breathing with subtle movements generated from within the body and harmonious hand and arm gestures. It effortlessly leads the practitioner into a state of very deep meditation, allowing the mind to calm down and experience stillness. This can balance and regulate brain activity. The exercise is therefore particularly suitable for people who do a lot of mental work or want to improve their memory function.
The breathing art of the immortals
This amazingly simple breathing technique builds up energy reserves by enriching the innermost part of the body with energy essence and provides the body and mind with increased mental strength.
The special feature of this technique is that the breathing happens almost automatically through a special mechanism and does not have to be actively generated. It generates heat in the lower abdomen and massages the internal organs. At the same time, the higher brain centers behind the forehead are activated. The profound renewal brought about by this exercise promotes emotional balance and stability.
In addition, remarkable improvements such as increased physical resilience, a feeling of youthfulness and vitality, mental clarity, and improved intuition often occur. All this can be achieved in a relatively short time with little effort.
These three complete basic exercises are taught in the one-day basic seminar.
Enhanced energy flow – The exercises learned in the basic course are deepened and expanded with practice elements that enhance their effect and stimulate the energy cycle in the microcosmic and macrocosmic orbit.
The exercise for rejuvenating the spine is expanded to include elements that stimulate energy flow along the central channel and release blockages in the middle back and shoulders.
completes the small energy cycle and lays the foundation for healing chronic illnesses. The energy channels extending into the arms and legs are opened to activate the entire energy system so that it can function as an integrated unit. The exercise can be performed while sitting or standing.
promotes healing of the heart and helps distribute and dissipate energy. It directs blood flow down into the legs, improves bladder function, warms the kidneys, and cleanses the heart and lungs. It is often practiced before going to sleep.
The insight technique is one of the innermost techniques of the “teachings of the great masters” and unleashes great power. It trains the mind/wisdom, regenerates energy in the body, and consists of a sequence of movements that are essentially not repeated (as in the other exercises).
In its original form, it touches the viewer with the special beauty and grace of the hand movements; it combines many aspects of Eastern inner alchemy, including heaven and earth, fire and water, and dragon and tiger.
The Insight Technique is completed in the course of the advanced courses up to Level 6.
The pelvic movement of the standing exercise is enhanced by two rotational movements, thereby intensifying its effect on the spine.
Further lesson content:
This exercise is performed while sitting and serves to strengthen the kidneys and lungs. It also has a very opening and liberating effect on the shoulder area.
The energetic closure techniques intensify the breathing technique “absorbing energy from the sky” (“igniting the inner fire”).
The insight technique is one of the innermost techniques of the “Teachings of the Great Masters” and unleashes great power.
It is completed during the advanced courses up to level 6.
The Dragon Pearl exercise is a special form of circulating energy in the energy orbit. It is performed while sitting and promotes longevity; at the same time, it can train inner and “extrasensory” perception.
The movement dynamics learned in the previous seminars are now expanded to include sideways movements. This opens up a new dimension of movement for the spine and also opens additional energy channels.
The insight technique is one of the innermost techniques of the “Teachings of the Great Masters” and unleashes great power.
It is completed during the advanced courses up to level 6.
The exercise for rejuvenating/regenerating the spine comes into its own in this seminar.
Starting from the horizontal circular movement of the pelvis, a movement pattern develops that carries the arms above the head in a perfect yin-yang-like manner. Hardly any other movement has such a comprehensive effect on the spine. It opens up the chest and shoulder area in particular, energizes the higher energy centers, while at the same time centering and grounding the body through the pelvic movement. It reflects the path of the stars and planets in the macrocosm and the movement of subatomic particles in the microcosm.
Following the universe, we too must move in circular patterns in a way that allows us to achieve the greatest effects with the least amount of energy.
The insight technique is one of the innermost techniques of the “Teachings of the Great Masters” and unleashes great power.
It is completed during the advanced courses up to level 6.
Yin-Yang palms & earthly and heavenly dragon
This standing exercise consists of four sections in which the overhead movement of the so-called Yin palm alternates with the movement of the Yang palm. The change is initiated either by the movement of the earthly or heavenly dragon. What makes this exercise special is that the simultaneous circular movement of the pelvis changes direction with each transition of the hand from yin to yang or from yang to yin. The right and left hands are practiced separately.
Since the exercise builds on the elements learned in Seminar 4, it is relatively easy to learn with a playful approach.
to strengthen the liver and digestive organs. It helps to release blockages and supports the detoxifying function of the liver.

It is completed during the advanced courses up to level 6.
The heavenly dance
The overhead movement of the exercise for rejuvenating the spine is combined with a simple sequence of steps that improves coordination and balance and stimulates the flow of energy to the feet.
Seated variation
This variation of the exercise for rejuvenating the spine intensifies the flow of energy along the meridians of the spine.
Die Organübungen werden in ihrer Wirksamkeit durch gezielte Meditationen auf die Organe verstärkt.
This is a standing exercise that increases flexibility and is combined with the dynamics of microcosmic and macrocosmic energy circulation.
The insight technique is one of the innermost techniques of the “Teachings of the Great Masters” and unleashes great power. It is completed during the two days of the Advanced 6 seminar.
The central theme is the introduction of the exercise sequence “Buddha Fa,” which is one of the exercises in the Tian Tao system that is directly associated with Bodhidharma and his activities in the Shaolin Temple.
It consists of three sections:
This exercise opens a large number of meridians simultaneously and prepares the body to absorb energy using the rooting technique.
The grounding technique consists of static positions that generate a high level of energy, which is directed to the main energy centers. This part of the exercise is often experienced as highly activating and should be gradually extended.
This exercise distributes the previously generated energy evenly throughout the body and connects it to the cosmic poles.
In addition, the lateral direction of the exercise is extended to rejuvenate the spine.
This workshop primarily rounds off the exercises from the Level 7 seminar, in which the standing exercises from the Buddha Fa complex (The Buddha with a Thousand Hands & the rooting technique) were practiced. In addition, other exercises that are already familiar will be expanded upon.
The seated Buddha Fa exercises build up a large field of energy and serve to deepen meditation.
Three additional energy gates are added to the Dragon Pearl exercise.
This expansion concerns the energy flow from the fourth eye to the cauldron.
Another element is added to the sideways version of the exercise for rejuvenating the spine.
This special technique serves to build up the so-called iron body, but not in a martial arts context. The focus is on healing, strengthening, resilience, longevity, and developing the mind.
The exercise sequence, consisting of over 30 steps, differs in quality from the other Tian Tao practices in that it includes several static positions that build up enormous strength in the body over time and cultivate prenatal energy, Yuan Qi. It particularly strengthens the bones and legs, generates heat in the lower abdomen and makes the body less sensitive to external influences over the years.
According to tradition, Ta Mo taught this technique to the 18 most advanced monks of the temple about 1350 years ago.
The minimum requirement for participation in the Golden Turtle seminar is the Advanced 2 seminar. This foundation ensures that the Golden Turtle can be performed with the necessary composure and physical and energetic preparation.
This technique is called “the eight treasures of the people.” It is a complete technique for well-being and health and has an effect on the entire body. Each individual technique should be performed at least three times before moving on to the next technique (eight times is the recommended number of repetitions).
The Eight Treasures exercise sequence relieves stress on the organs and helps release pent-up energy and emotions. It leaves you feeling refreshed and alert.
The goal is to perform the exercises in a meditative manner so that the mind becomes more involved and the movements become less and less physical. Breathing is deep.
The technique teaches us to become aware of our treasure (the body) and, through deep breathing, not only to train the essence but also to transform it so that it circulates in a way that nourishes the entire body. In summary, when practicing the technique, we strive for the following three aspects: an abundance of stored energy, vital energy, and a completely focused and concentrated mind.
The minimum requirement for participation in the Eight Treasures seminar is the Basic seminar.
